Forum Courtyard is the first shopping mall in Kolkata that caters to international standards. Inaugurated in 2003, Forum Courtyard trail blazed a path to change the mind set and the buying behavior of the enthusiastic Kolkata shopper.
Apart from introducing to Kolkata, a multiplex culture – with Inox operating its first 4 screens in the city- Forum Courtyard offers its customers a variety of brands, the gourmet experience of a multi – cuisine fine dining, a food court and a mall culture which has grown many folds since its opening. Spread across two hundred and forty thousand square feet, this lifestyle shopping mall houses some well-known brands like Shopper’s Stop, Levi’s, Cottonworld, Color Plus and Swarovski, some of which have introduced their brands to the city using Forum Courtyard as the launch platform.
With the additional 40,000 sqft in 2010 which not only addressed the parking requirements of the mall but also brought in brands like Mango, Promod, Rolex, Aldo, Lalique, Daum & various other brands for the first time to the city, like it did in 2003. The sales figures of all the brands that have tested the Kolkata market with Forum Courtyard, right from 2003, have been extremely promising. Brands in Forum courtyard have broken national records in various seasons, be it Inox, Shoppers Stop, Anokhi, Mango or Swarovski, to name a few. This became even more evident, when in 2012 the leases for most of these brands expired in the mall and they renewed their agreement at higher rentals. With the leases expiring in the 9th year Forum Courtyard got yet another opportunity to introduce new brands for its discerning customer. Brands like Veromoda, Charles & Keith, Guess Accessories, Only, Asian Paints Experience centre now found their way in Forum Courtyard.
Situated in central Kolkata – Forum Courtyard – with its unique blend of shopping, cinema, food under common comfort facilities continues to be a favourite destination for mall- goers!
